Volume One: The Foundation. Eleven chapters, eleven films, and the working half of the book — which is this website.
Every chapter of the printed book ends with a code. Scanning it opens that chapter’s page here: the film, the chapter read aloud, and the drills with a timer that keeps the time and a tracker that keeps the count. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for. Everything you type stays in your own browser.
That the thing standing between you and English is not vocabulary and not grammar. It is the half-second where you translate, and the fear that fills it. Volume One takes that apart in eleven chapters — how learning actually works, how English is built, how to put a sentence together, how to move through time, how to ask a real question, how to find the switch that lets you speak before you feel ready, and how to think in English rather than through it.
Each chapter ends with a mission. The missions are the book. The reading is just the part that explains them.
Danyar Ali is a language student who stopped waiting for a better way to learn English, built one himself, and put it in the hands of everyone else trying to do the same.
